Montagno Construction served as Construction Manager at Risk for the new 56-apartment assisted living facility for the Seymour Housing Authority. This 60,000 square-foot, three-story building features an intimate and welcoming environment with one- and two-bedroom apartments on the upper floors, while the lower level houses mechanical rooms, storage, and offices for the housing authority. The facility includes a range of amenities such as a commercial kitchen, a formal dining room, communal living rooms, a library and computer room, a community room for crafts, games, and performances, as well as a solarium lobby and covered patio. Additional features include locker rooms and a walking trail, all designed to enhance the quality of life for residents. Funded through HUD, CHFA, LIHTC, and DOH with CHRO requirements, this project was completed in just over one year.
