The WYSH House

Meriden, CT

Architect:

Quisenberry Arcari Malik (QA&M)

The WYSH House

Located in Meriden’s historic district, this 10,000 sf building provides 12 efficiency apartments for young adults from ages 18-24 years. The first floor has lobbies, offices, gathering spaces, and a research center.

This project was built on a tight urban site with a 100-yr old culvert running underground just outside the building footprint. Great care was taken to preserve the integrity of the culvert. The project was completed in just 9 months.

The WYSH House was designed and built with private, DOH, HUD, and CHFA funds with CHRO requirements.
