Montagno Construction completed a two-phase renovation of Harboursite Apartments, a handicapped-accessible senior housing complex, while keeping the building fully occupied throughout the construction process. The first phase focused on updating the exterior envelope of the 7-story building, which included a new roof, replacement of all windows, EIFS exterior coating, and the installation of new kitchens in all 77 apartments. The second phase included the addition of a new entry with a canopy, a renovated lobby, updated corridors, common rooms, and meeting spaces, as well as the installation of new boilers. Funded through CHFA with CHRO requirements, this project significantly enhanced the facility’s livability and accessibility for its residents.
