Montagno Construction was hired by the City of Waterbury to construct a 2-story, 14,000 square foot shell office space for Luvata, a global leader in metal solutions manufacturing. The project was located on a city-owned, federally registered brownfield site, requiring extensive groundwork that included 74, 40-foot deep micropiles for the foundation. Our scope of work encompassed the construction of the entire building envelope, installation of rooftop units, in-floor mechanical systems, and stub-ups for mechanical and plumbing systems. Completed at a cost of approximately $3,000,000, this project was finished in under a year.
