Montagno Construction is currently managing the redevelopment of Valley Street Apartments, which includes the demolition of ten existing apartment buildings containing 40 units and the construction of nine new apartment buildings along with a community clubhouse. This 86,000 square-foot project features passive house-certified buildings designed to minimize energy costs. The scope of work also involves full site development, including all new infrastructure to support the upgraded facilities. Funded through LIHTC with support from the State of Connecticut Department of Housing and HUD, the project is subject to CHRO S/M/W/BE and HUD Section 3 requirements. This development will provide modern, energy-efficient housing for the community while meeting stringent sustainability and regulatory standards.
