Montagno Construction is performing a gut renovation of the existing Meriden Public Library, which includes approximately 50,000 square feet of renovations and a 6,000 square foot addition. The expansion will enhance this community anchor by increasing the size of the children’s section, creating a new entrance, and allowing for a reimagined interior layout. The library will undergo hazardous materials abatement and receive all-new systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and state-of-the-art technology upgrades. New interior finishes will refresh the space, while advanced technology features will improve staff capabilities, expand resources for patrons, enhance multipurpose rooms, and create an even more enjoyable experience for children visiting the library.
