Montagno Construction served as the general contractor for a multi-phase, major addition and renovation of the Ludlowe Center for Health and Rehabilitation, a 154-bed skilled nursing facility. The project included the demolition of an existing 4-story wing and construction of a new 4-story addition, along with selective demolition at the opposite end to create a 1-story addition with a new entry and dining room. In total, 76,000 square feet of the original building was fully renovated, receiving updated interior finishes, utilities, infrastructure, and expanded parking areas. Throughout this privately funded, $16 million project, the facility remained fully operational, requiring stringent adherence to Joint Commission Guidelines, particularly for health and safety, life safety, and infection control measures. Completed in just over two years, this comprehensive renovation brought new life to a vital healthcare facility.
