Immacare

Montagno Construction transformed an existing church into an expanded outreach shelter for ImmaCare, significantly increasing overnight accommodations and supportive programs for individuals in need. The renovation included a new commercial kitchen to serve hot meals, a food pantry, steeple and parking lot repairs, as well as comprehensive interior and exterior restorations. The project also improved accessibility with enhanced entrances and landscaping. Funded by the Department of Housing with CHRO requirements, the shelter won the Connecticut Preservation Award of Merit from Preservation Connecticut, honoring the team’s dedication to creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming space for Connecticut’s vulnerable populations.
